• Main Usage

Self-propelled modular trailer(SPMT) multi axle trailer can achieve the self-driven function offered by PPU. Each modular can be mechanically connected and freely located. The max full load is tens of thousands of tons. It is broadly applied in high-speed railway, clean energy, nuclear power etc.

• Steering System

The hydraulic steering cylinder is built in the frame. Several cylinders make the pull rod steer. The maximum rotary angle of the first wheel is 55°. Hence, the radius of turning circle can be reduced by hydraulic steering.

The steering pull rod system adopts the dual vertical tie rod, which can decrease the wobble of the SPMT during driving. The pull rod is not easily cracked with the small stress. The low steering error profits from the computer design. The length of steering tie rod is regular. Thus, the replacement is convenient. The steering plate is designed with multiple holes and can be kept for extension. When the rotary angle of the axle is maximal, the minimum angle between tie rod and the suspension is 20°. Hence, the stress and rotational resistance can be decreased.
